Service Description

Experience Required: Students MUST know and demonstrate how to safely load, fire, and unload a handgun as well as demonstrate competence in working from the holster and performing reloads. Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for the specific class may be removed from training. Students must sign the liability waiver before coming to the class. Advanced Pistol course covers the following: Firearm Safety Rules review Safe Handling of Firearms review Shooting Fundamentals review Defensive shooting theory Sighted and Unsighted fire techniques (Index/Thumb finger) Speed/Accuracy/Precision shooting Malfunction Drills Reloading Drills (Combat reload / Magazine exchange) Movement techniques Forward Rear Lateral Shooting from barricaded position Shooting from positions of disadvantage (Prone/Side/Supine) One handed shooting (Strong hand / Support hand / Bent elbow) Multiple threat engagements Introduction to cognitive capacity (Reaction on a combat/defensive shooting) Shooting under stress and disorientation Equipment Required: - Full size and compact pistols only - Outside the Waistband (OWB) Holster / Inside the Waistband (IWB) Holster / Belt / Magazine pouches - At Least Three (3) Magazines - Eyes and Ears Protection - Comfortable Shoes - Sunscreen / Hat / Folding Chair - Water / Food / Snacks - 400 Rounds of ammunition CLASS PRICE $350.00 - NON-REFUNDABLE (STUDENT CAN RESCHEDULE THE CLASS ONE TIME).
